Out now on Lo Recordings. All shot on Canon 5D and 7D. It took four days to shoot and is made up of over 3000 stills.

On Safer Ground. Stuart & Hedley's 1st documentary feature

P-shoot's Stuart and Hedley are in the process of directing and shooting their 1st documentary feature 'On Safer Ground'.

SYNOPSIS

The documentary follows a team of football mad teenagers from Laos, the most heavily bombed country on earth, as they travel to The Gothia Youth World Cup in Sweden. This adventure fulfils the the boys dream to fly on a plane and get their first ever glimpse of the sea. No one knew the tragedy that would unfold making the trip even more poignant and meaningful.

WE LOVE THE CANON 5D - SAYS HEDLEY

"We’ve been shooting this documentary on the Canon 5d Mk2 – and to be honest it’s simply a beautiful way to work. As well as shooting full HD, we’ve been able to use our gorgeous Canon lenses – the 24, 50 & 85mm, as well as a couple of decent zooms which give the final images a beautiful film like quality that we could never have achieved using a standard video camera set up. The other amazing thing about this camera is how it copes in low light situations – you can get great results in the dead of night using available light. This project has made us really put the 5D through its paces shooting solidly for 4 weeks in all types of conditions all round the world. It isn’t set-up as a video camera but with the add-on of a few 3rd party products like the Z-Finder this camera is changing how the whole industry works - we love it" says P-shoots Hedley Dindoyal.
